Aside from that silliness, the AI updates this week are all about power and practicality. OpenAI dropped Agent Builder, a drag-and-drop visual editor that lets you build full AI workflows without writing a line of code. Don’t get rid of your Zapier account just yet, but there’s a lot to be excited about. Meanwhile, Google’s Gemini just got the ability to schedule meetings, sync files, and apply your makeup before a video call. Claude now connects live with Google Drive, and Spotify's DJ takes requests by text.
There’s a clear theme here: AI isn’t just answering questions anymore. It’s doing things for you — across your desktop, your calendar, your docs, and even your playlist.
OpenAI launched Agent Builder, a drag-and-drop visual tool for creating AI workflows — no programming required. Think of it as Zapier meets ChatGPT, where you can design how agents behave, respond, and connect to data sources all inside a visual canvas. It’s technically “no-code,” but built for power users who want to automate complex processes inside ChatGPT.
Anthropic is rolling out Claude Skills — mini-agent functions that let Claude fetch data, summarize content, generate custom replies, and even run simple workflows on its own. It’s a big step toward making Claude more autonomous and capable of acting without waiting for detailed prompts. This announcement literally came out while I was writing this newsletter, so I haven’t had a chance to investigate yet. Stay tuned…it sounds exciting! In the meantime, here’s a short video that shows you how it works.
Anthropic just released a new version of its lightweight Claude Haiku model, offering faster responses and better reasoning at lower costs. Ideal for customer support and internal chatbots, it’s built for when you need quick, reliable AI rather than deep reasoning.
Claude’s Google Drive integration now syncs live — meaning any changes you make to connected Google Docs instantly reflect in Claude. It’s perfect for evolving projects like brand guides or research docs that need constant updates. THIS IS HUGE!
Google rolled out Gemini for Enterprise, combining its top reasoning models with Google Cloud’s security and collaboration tools. It can summarize meetings, analyze documents, write code, and automate workflows — bringing AI directly into everyday business operations.
Google’s latest video model, Veo 3.1, is now live inside Flow, Google’s AI-powered video editor. Flow lets creators generate, edit, and refine short videos using simple text or voice prompts — no manual editing required. With Veo 3.1, users get smoother motion, higher-quality visuals, and more precise natural-language editing, all within one intuitive workspace.
Neeca and I played around with it but you only get 3 videos a day right now. By the time we figured out what were doing, we couldn’t make changes. But here’s what we were playing with:
Just tell Gemini, “Schedule a meeting with Sarah next week,” and it’ll check your availability, suggest times, and send invites automatically — no need to open Calendar. Also, it does this super quickly!
Google Search and Discover just got smarter with AI-driven recommendations and a collapsible ads layout that makes browsing cleaner and less cluttered.
Copilot now integrates with OneDrive, Dropbox, and Google Drive, pulling in data from multiple apps in one chat. You can ask it to draft proposals, summarize notes, or create documents that pull content directly from your connected files — streamlining your workflow across tools.
Windows Copilot now supports Voice and Vision, meaning you can talk to your PC or drag in images and screenshots for instant help. Copilot can interpret visuals, summarize charts, or locate related files — turning your desktop into a hands-free, visual-first AI workspace.
xAI’s first video generation model, Imagine v0.9, creates videos with sound in about 20 seconds using Grok’s Aurora engine. You can even generate videos hands-free using “Voice Mode.” Musk says this marks xAI’s biggest leap into multimedia creation yet.
You can now message Spotify’s AI DJ with prompts like “play something chill” or “queue my focus mix.” The AI replies conversationally and updates your playlist in real time — making music discovery feel personal again.
↩️ Don’t miss out: Did you miss our last newsletter? We featured OpenAI’s new Sora app — now live on the Apple App Store. You can create short, AI-generated videos from text prompts and share them instantly. Check it here!

I want you to act as an expert tutor who helps me master any topic through an interactive, interview-style course. The process must be recursive and personalized.
Here’s what I want you to do:
1. Ask me for a topic I want to learn.
2. Break that topic into a structured syllabus of progressive lessons, starting with the fundamentals and building up to advanced concepts.
3. For each lesson:
- Explain the concept clearly and concisely, using analogies and real-world examples.
- Ask me Socratic-style questions to assess and deepen my understanding.
- Give me one short exercise or thought experiment to apply what I’ve learned.
- Ask if I’m ready to move on or if I need clarification.
- If I say yes, move to the next concept.
- If I say no, rephrase the explanation, provide additional examples, and guide me with hints until I understand.
4. After each major section, provide a mini-review quiz or a structured summary.
5. Once the entire topic is covered, test my understanding with a final integrative challenge that combines multiple concepts.
6. Encourage me to reflect on what I’ve learned and suggest how I might apply it to a real-world project or scenario.
This process should repeat recursively until I fully understand the entire topic.
Let’s begin: ask me what I want to learn.

Hi Reader, I’ve been testing the new ChatGPT 5.1 update this week and it’s genuinely impressive. The new personality presets (like teaching, professional, and casual) make switching tones effortless, and the memory and reasoning upgrades are a noticeable improvement. Conversations feel smoother and more intuitive across the board. That wasn’t the only big drop. Google launched PDF Podcasts in Drive, Gemini now supports hands-free shopping with agentic checkout, and Comet from Perplexity...

ChatGPT’s Agent Mode now lets it take real action on your behalf: researching, booking, comparing, and shopping all within the Atlas browser. It’s a big step toward real, hands-free task automation. (But use with caution, as there are privacy issues!) Over at Google, Maps just got a major upgrade with Gemini integration, meaning you can now ask for alternate routes, nearby coffee shops, or parking with...
